Traditional oracles just move raw data from one place to another. TAO adds intelligence to the process—it connects to AI systems that understand context, compares multiple AI responses, and only writes verified answers onchain.

Yes. TAO is being built as an open protocol. Developers, builders, and even DAO communities will be able to integrate AI-verified data into their smart contracts once it launches.

No. TAO performs the full process—query, AI response, aggregation, and verification—onchain through distributed nodes. This means there’s no single point of failure and no manual human step.

At launch, TAO supports major AI engines like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Each acts as an independent “agent” that contributes its answer. The results are then verified through TAO’s oracle network before being published onchain.
